Yeah, come up here to the Northern Sierra Nevada for a pleasant time. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Yuba River - South Fork. most of the snow is January, and July meanwhile is the driest month. A lot of folks opt for Bear Creek Campground so they can go to Burton Creek State Park.
So much fun stuff near Bear Creek Campground; it is a pleasant campground. Going for a hike along the Granite Chief Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and if you're here why not stop at Squaw Valley.
Bear Creek Campground is a campground esteemed by the folks in Tahoe City. The glorious variety of local attractions and such a vast number of things to do are certain to keep you coming back over and over. Donner Memorial State Park is a lovely spot any time of year, and Fir Crags is a great location to explore while in the neighborhood.
This is a glorious campground. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Five Lakes; nearby you come across the Pacific Crest Trail - section 14 which is a good hiking trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Sierra Nevada. Burton Creek State Park is a magnificent place to stretch your legs a bit, and what would a place like Bear Creek Campground be without attention-grabbing nearby characteristics like Thunder Cliff. And that's not all you can do here at Bear Creek Campground. Places like Alpine Meadows are great to explore, and Scott Peak is delightful and can be seen from here.
Through the summer months highs here at Bear Creek Campground get into the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's; nighttime lows throughout the wintertime for Bear Creek Campground tend to be in the 10's. Bear Creek Campground is a glorious camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Northern Sierra Nevada.
