Bandido Campground, San Gabriel Mountains, California   California is a splendid place for outdoors folks. If you come to this campground, you will have a nice time for sure. Yep, outdoors exciting things truly is abundant here in the San Gabriel Mountains. Bandido Campground is right next door to Pio Pico State Park which is a charming place; going for a hike on the Valley Forge Trail is always a delightful adventure. A number of people stay here to be near Angeles National Forest. That right there is heaps already, but it keeps on going; Bandido Campground has it all. Go for a hike on the Rattlesnake Trail,     and the slopes of Mt Waterman are so inviting nobody can resist. Near Bandido Campground you come across the Santa Anita Trail which is a good hiking trail, and a pleasant visit to Horse Flats is a magnificent way to spend an afternoon. So much exciting stuff in the vicinity of Bandido Campground; lots of folks enjoy coming here to get away. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the San Gabriel Mountains. A nice site in the neighborhood of Bandido Campground is Alder Saddle, and if the weather is beautiful, you get a brilliant vista of Mount Hillyer from Bandido Campground. Bandido Campground is frequently a pretty dried out place; the month with most of the   rain is February, and the driest of the months is July. Don't leave Bandido Campground without first going for a hike along the Upper Winter Creek Trail, and there are plenty of folks from Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana here. There's more to do close to Bandido Campground other than just hanging out such as relaxing, and hiking, so you won’t get bored. This campground has so much fun stuff to offer. The Gabrielino National Scenic Trail is a fine hiking trail in close proximity to Bandido Campground, and Angeles National Forest is both splendid and stunning. The pleasant variety of local attractions and so much stuff to do are great reasons to come. All through the summer highs here at Bandido Campground get into the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's, and overnight lows through the winter for Bandido Campground tend to be in the 30's. This camp ground is situated in the pretty San Gabriel Mountains.
