    vista of Zaca Peak. Going for a hike along the Gato Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; Cuyama River has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by. Ballard Campground is exceptionally well esteemed by the people from Santa Ynez.
Summer at Ballard
Campground arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 60's while Ballard Campground night low temperatures through the winter are in the 30's. Around Ballard Campground you don’t get a lot of rain; most of the rain falls through February, and the driest of the months is July. At this campground you will always have a nice time. El Capitan State Beach is worth a visit if you're at Ballard Campground.
These mountains rock, just explore all the enjoyable
 
stuff to do in the Sierra Madre. While you're here at Ballard Campground it's a perfect idea to visit Sawmill Basin, and do take a hike on the Ranger Peak Trail. This campground is a wonderful site to have a look at. You could also go to Zaca Lake while you're here at Ballard Campground; it's close by, and don't leave without going to Refugio State Beach. Man, is there heaps of cool things to do next to Ballard Campground. If the weather is glorious here at Ballard Campground, you can go for a hike along the Manzana Trail, and it's a wonderful idea to stop by Ballard Creek.
This camp ground is one of the great sites to camp here in the Sierra Madre. California has loads of outdoors activities.
If you want a nice time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Sierra Madre. People from Santa Ynez love to come to Ballard Campground, and you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Hurricane Deck Trail.
