Baker Campground is a campground that is fantastically esteemed by campers from Pinecrest. Places like Haypress Meadow are delightful to visit; great hiking is available along the Corral Valley Trail.
Just can't get enough of the Central Sierra Nevada. Carson River - East Fork has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot close by, and there's splendid hiking along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 13. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Baker Campground. A brilliant location for whitewater paddling near Baker Campground is Stanislaus River - Middle Fork, and Stanislaus National Forest is a fine spot to go. A lot of people opt for Baker Campground so they can go to Echo Canyon State Park.
California is a perfect outdoors state. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Lost Canyon Trail. This is such a pretty campground. Dodge Ridge is a nice local ski area, and don't leave Baker Campground without first going for a hike along the Silver King Trail.
