Baker Campground, Central Sierra Nevada, California   Baker Campground is fantastically popular with people in Pinecrest. Take a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail - section 13; Echo Canyon State Park is both nice and gorgeous. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend West Walker River, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Lost Canyon Trail. Baker Campground is a tremendous camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Central Sierra Nevada. At Baker Campground all through the months of summer highs are in the 60's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Baker Campground dip into the 10's. Many people opt for this campground to be close to Echo Canyon State Park. The magnificent local attractions and all the outdoors recreation will make you delighted you came. You've been indoors for too   long, you've got to get out of the house, and Baker Campground in California is a really tremendous place to spend some time. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff at Baker Campground. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Stanislaus River - Middle Fork, and glorious skiing awaits you at Dodge Ridge. There's loads of outdoors recreation available nearby such as hiking, and whitewater paddling, so running out of fun things to do won’t happen. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Central Sierra Nevada. There's whitewater on Carson River - East Fork for all you adrenaline people, and the Silver King Trail offers hiking at its best. This campground is so magnificent. When you're here at Baker Campground it's always fun to pop by Stanislaus National Forest, and you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Early Emigrant and Indian Trail.
