Some folks stay at this campground for the purpose of being in the neighborhood of Stanislaus National Forest. On a good day at Arnot Branch Campground you can take a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 13, and whitewater paddling is pleasant on Carson River - East Fork. is a nice hiking trail close by called the Corral Valley Trail. Arnot Branch Campground usually gets a good deal of precipitation; January is the month that gets the most snow, and July on the other hand is the driest. Going for a hike on the Charity Valley Trail is always
a great adventure. During the warm months here at Arnot Branch Campground, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 60's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and after the sun is down
throughout the wintertime temperatures at Arnot Branch Campground sink into the 10's. If you come to this campground, you will have a delightful time for sure. Here at Arnot Branch Campground there are plenty of people from Pinecrest; Stanislaus National Forest is a wonderful

A pleasant visit to Sand Flat is a tremendous way to spend an afternoon; if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Stanislaus River - Middle Fork.
