Alms Campground is a primitive campground which of course means that there are few facilities. Getting to this primitive campground can be fairly challenging, but it's well worth it. Primitive campgrounds like these are a tremendous way to get out in the fresh air; it is truly beautiful here at this primitive campground. Ready to pitch that tent; Alms Campground in California is a pleasant spot to go.
Such a perfect pick of attractions and the perfect variety of outdoors recreation are fine reasons to come. California has such an incredible array of things to offer nature lovers.
Several people camp here for the purpose of being near Sand Dollar Beach.

    Campground wasn't enough, you can also go fishing, swimming, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
If you enjoy whitewater, there is the Above and down to Mission San Antonio
 de Padua sector, a class II whitewater part on San Antonio, 10.7 miles from beginning to end. This part of San Antonio is recommended for beginner raft paddlers. If you are going whitewater boating, you must always check current conditions. The 3,407 foot variation in height Girard Trail is a lovely spot to go backcountry backpacking; it's 5.1 miles of fine backcountry backpacking. A fine one day of demanding backcountry backpacking is in store for you along the Girard Trail. The variation in elevation is 1,759 feet for a scenic 6.6-mile-from-beginning-to-end backcountry trail around here; we are of course chatting about the Gamboa Trail. In case you desire a hard walk, Gamboa Trail necessitates  
something like one day to walk. Arroyo Seco Trail in the neighborhood is 7.6 miles from beginning to end and has a great 2,631-foot variation in height; it's a pretty wilderness trail.
