Alder Creek Campground, Southern Sierra Nevada, California Custom Search   This is truly a nice campground. A lake nearby is Lake Engle, and you can go for a hike on the Cannell Meadow Trail. Soar down the rapids of Kern River in a kayak; close by you find the Bull Run Cattle Drive which is a great hiking trail. So much entertaining stuff to do at Alder Creek Campground, so little time.
