| | Aikens Creek Campground is a tremendous camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Coast Ranges. If you're here, you might as well stop at McFarland Gulch, and wonderful hiking is available along the Horse Ridge National Scenic Trail. There's heaps of outdoors recreation available close by such as whitewater paddling, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Creek Campground during the months of summer are in the 90's while overnight lows are typically in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Aikens Creek Campground. So much fun stuff in the Coast Ranges, just tremendous.
