Ackerman Campground is a very popular campground with campers from Lewiston. That right there is a load already, but it goes on; Ackerman Campground has it all. Whitewater paddling is great on Brandy Creek; Shasta National Forest is a good spot to stretch your legs a bit.
Several folks select this campground in order to be close to Weaverville Joss House State Park.
