This camp ground is positioned in the lovely Klamath Mountains. This is such a fun site for a campground. This is a glorious neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Trinity Lake is a lake close at hand, and Palace of the Oaks is a forest that you can go to. The perfect local
attractions and the perfect variety of outdoors recreation are good motives to come.
There's no way someone can get bored here in the Klamath Mountains. When you're here at Ackerman Campground it's always fun to check out Weaverville Joss House State Park, and Clear Creek Sacramento
Tributary has a fine whitewater paddling spot close by. Ackerman Campground is a very popular campground with campers from Lewiston. That right there is a load already, but it goes on; Ackerman Campground has it all. Whitewater paddling is great on Brandy Creek; Shasta National
Forest is a good spot to stretch your legs a bit.
Several folks select this campground in order to be close to Weaverville Joss House State Park.
