Here at Ackerman Campground there are plenty of folks from Lewiston, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Trinity River.
A lot of people camp here when going to Weaverville Joss House State Park. The annual precipitation here at Ackerman Campground is about average; January is the wettest month with most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This site, the Klamath Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing things. Don't miss out on a visit to Whiskeytown National Recreation Area while you're here at Ackerman Campground.
