If you adore the outdoors, you won’t be let down; there's hiking, and whitewater paddling, so running out of enjoyable stuff to do won’t happen. You just can't envision the
amount of outdoors entertaining things the Mogollon Rim Mountains has to offer. Go for a hike on the Old Mail Trail, and Coconino National Forest is worth checking out.
Water Wheel Campground is a very popular campground among campers from Payson. Going for a hike on the Horton Creek Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and Willow Spring Canyon is a good spot to go to.
