is a location that is quite dried out commonly; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and June on the other hand is the driest. Ellison Creek is a wonderful stream that is worth stopping at; if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Myrtle
Trail. When you're here at Second Crossing Campground it's always fun to visit Tonto Natural Bridge State Park; on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Highline Trail. Such a perfect selection of attractions and the perfect variety of outdoors recreation will make
you happy you came. All through the summer months, highs generally are in the 90's at Second Crossing Campground, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Second Crossing Campground temperatures drop to the 20's.
