  Arizona is a magnificent location for outdoors people. There are magnificent locations to discover along the Gaddes Canyon Trail, and probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Mingus Lake is just a very short distance away. The great variety of local attractions and such a great variety of outdoors recreation will make you happy you came.
Paddling on Verde River is so much fun; there are plenty of people from Jerome here at Mingus Mountain Campground. This is no location for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Very delightful scenery
    and pleasant skiing is what you get at Williams.
Mingus Mountain Campground is liked by folks from Jerome. Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the entertaining stuff you can do is playing golf, hiking, whitewater paddling, swimming, and fishing, so it's just not possible
to get bored.
For the period of the warmest time of the year highs here at Mingus Mountain Campground reach the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's, and night lows at Mingus Mountain Campground during the wintertime ordinarily fall into the 30's. Scores of folks pick this campground when going to Dead Horse Ranch State Park.
This campground is so tremendous. There's good hiking along the Packard Trail Nmber Sixty Six, and a spree to Fort Verde State Historic Park revives the spirit. Why
 
not take a refreshing hike along the Casner Mountain Trail Eight; drift down the rapids of Verde River in a kayak. That right there is plenty already, but it keeps on going; Mingus Mountain Campground has it all. Pine Shadows Golf Course is a golf course right next door to Mingus Mountain Campground, and Montezuma Castle National Monument is a delightful national park.
Mingus Mountain can be spotted from Mingus Mountain Campground, and of course, all our national parks are tremendous places to have a look at and Tuzigoot National Monument is no exception. Everybody should go camping from time to time, and Mingus Mountain Campground in Arizona is precisely what you need. Don't leave Mingus Mountain Campground without first going for a hike along the Woodchute Trail; Dead Horse Ranch State Park is a great spot to go to.
There's such a great deal of things to do near Mingus Mountain Campground, and spending time at this campground is enormously fun. Around Mingus Mountain Campground you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
A campground like this is too tremendous to miss. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Mingus Mountain Campground; Sycamore Basin Trail is a nice local trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Oak Creek.
