| | I think there may have been a Greer Campground years ago, but there are only two Forest Service campgrounds in the area, Benny Creek and Hoyer. Swimming in the lakes is not recommended because of the water temperatures and hazards such as broken glass fishhooks and the like. Says R. Willis

and a nice spot like Amberon Flat here at Greer Campground is too tremendous to miss.
The annual precipitation here at Greer Campground is about average; August is the wettest month with most rain, and June meanwhile is the driest month. Greer Campground is next to Lyman Lake
| State Park which is a gorgeous spot, and drift down the rapids of Black River - East Fork in a kayak. At Greer Campground enjoyable stuff to do is bountiful, and what a fine location for camping it is.
There's heaps of outdoors recreation available in the vicinity such as swimming, hiking, whitewater paddling, and fishing, so possibly you want to stick around. Be careful coming to the Mogollon Rim Mountains, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Tunnel Dam is worth visiting since you're here, and here at Greer Campground you can see Sizer Knoll. | |

Greer Campground is a good camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Mogollon Rim Mountains.
If you yearn for a little side tour, try Butler Canyon; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try East Fork Little Colorado River. That right there is loads of fun stuff already
but it goes on, the Mogollon Rim Mountains has it all. Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest is a delightful spot to stretch your legs a bit, and Greer Campground is right by the Sheep Crossing_Baldy Ninetyfour Trail.

has it all. Lots of folks from Greer come to Greer Campground, and the slopes of Sunrise Park are so inviting noone can resist. Going camping here in Arizona is something you should do. This is a perfect campground. Amberon Point is an exciting thing to observe if you're here at
Greer Campground.
Summer at Greer Campground arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. For the period of the winter the highs are commonly in the 40's; throughout the dark hours in the winter at Greer Campground temperatures descend to the 10's. Greer Campground is a very popular campground among people from Greer.
