Some activities here at Gentry Campground are fishing, swimming, playing golf, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so it's out of the question to get bored. A wonderful trail nearby, 3.8 miles from start to finish, in possession of an elevation difference of 347 feet is West Holcomb Trail. Going for a backcountry walk outdoes anything; the 3.6-mile-from-beginning-to-end Foot Canyon Trail is close at hand; it has a variation in altitude of 140 feet. Black       Canyon Dam is a place that is in close proximity to Gentry Campground; Stott Canyon is absolutely a pleasant site to stop at. And if that's not sufficient there's plenty more cool things to do in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. On a good   day at Gentry Campground you can take a hike along the West Holcomb Trail; Pine Meadows Country Club is a golf course nearby. This campground is a striking location to have a look at. The Foot Canyon Trail is a fine hiking trail right next door to Gentry Campground; why not a little side spree to Middle Fork Bull Flat Canyon.
