Around Dogtown Campground you don’t get a lot of precipitation; through August this area sees the most rain while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The pleasant variety of local attractions and all the outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came.

Basin Trail; you'll almost certainly meet some folks from Williams here. Williams is a fine local ski area; at Dogtown Dam near Dogtown Campground there are some attention-grabbing things to see. Slide Rock State Park is both good and beautiful, and it's in close proximity to Dogtown
Campground; why not take a refreshing hike along the Little Lookout Trail.
