Going for a hike on the Escudilla National Recreation Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and Open Draw is a delightful location to go to. Arizona is a nice outdoors state. Lots of people stay at this campground to be near Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest. You're sure to bump into some fine people from Alpine here, and on a good day you can take a hike along the KP Trail Seventy. If you go for the outdoors, you won’t be dissatisfied; there's whitewater paddling, and |
hiking, so running out of enjoyable stuff to do won’t happen. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Mogollon Rim Mountains. Paddling on Blue River is so much fun, and you can go for a hike on the Salt House Eighteen Trail. This is beyond doubt a tremendous campground. There
| is a fine hiking trail near Diamond Rock Campground called the Steeple Mesa Seventy-Three Trail, and a tour here wouldn’t be complete without a spree to nearby Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest. Not much rainfall falls here at Diamond Rock Campground; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while May is commonly the driest month. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Sunrise Park is close to Diamond Rock Campground; why not take a little spree to North Fork East Fork Black River if you're here. keep you coming back repeatedly. Diamond Rock Campground is a popular spot with the residents of Alpine. There's such a large number of things to do next to Diamond Rock Campground, and it is a nice campground. The warmest time of the year at Diamond Rock Campground arrives
with high temperatures in the 70's while nighttime lows are typically in the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 40's; nighttime lows at Diamond Rock Campground during the wintertime typically fall into the 10's. The surroundings of this campground have so much
stuff to offer. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Black River - East Fork. Diamond Rock Campground is a nice camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Mogollon Rim Mountains.
