Myrtle Trail is a demanding three and a half hours of backpacking. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Horton Creek Trail, and Long Valley Experimental   Forest is a forest that you can go to. So much fun stuff to do in the Mogollon Rim Mountains, not enough time. Good hiking is available along the Myrtle Trail, and Coconino National Forest is both pleasant and beautiful. This campground is a scenic place to go to. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Payson Golf Course.
