Coming to this campground is always a great idea. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Beaver Creek; going for a hike on the Vultee Arch Twenty Two is always
 
a fine adventure. If time allows, Walnut Canyon National Monument is a national park worth taking a look at, and the summit of Ritter Butte can be spotted from Cave Spring Campground. Lots of people from Munds Park come to Cave Spring Campground, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on Wet Beaver Creek.
Cave Spring Campground is extremely well esteemed by folks from Munds Park. This campground is so beautiful. There's splendid hiking along the Dorsey Spring Trail, and going to Red Rock State Park is a great thing to do.
There's more to do right next door to Cave Spring Campground other than just hanging out such as hiking, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t get bored. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Cave Spring Campground. There are pleasant places to look at along the Wilson Mountain Trail. Not much rainfall falls here at Cave Spring Campground; the wettest month of the year is commonly August, that's the one that rains the most, and June is the month with the least moisture.
Summertime at Cave Spring Campground arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Cave Spring Campground.
