Summertime highs at Bear Wallow Campground ordinarily tend to be in the 100's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 70's. During the winter highs are in the 60's while the cold winter nights at Bear Wallow Campground are in the 30's. A trip to Saguaro National Park is worthwhile, and don't leave Bear Wallow Campground without first checking out Palisade Rock.

There's no way to run out of exciting things to do in close proximity to Bear Wallow Campground; it is a good campground. There is a great hiking trail right next door to Bear Wallow Campground called the Ventura Esperero Trail Twenty-five, and Butterfly Peak is clearly visible from Bear Wallow Campground. Bear Wallow Campground gets very little rain; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is May.
Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! Bear Wallow Campground is so good! All our national parks are delightful locations to pop by, and Chiricahua National Monument is no exception; if you're here you can take a hike along the Bear Canyon Trail Twenty-Nine.
This campground is so glorious. Marshall Gulch is a fine location to spend some time at, and Inspiration Rock is a wonderful location to stop at while in the vicinity.
