Lake Sylvia Campground, Ouachita Mountains, Arkansas Custom Search   This place holds many wonderful memoriers for me, with my family. This is where I learned to swim and many wonderful picnics. All the good local attractions in close proximity and such a good variety of outdoors recreation will definitely have you coming back persistently. Lake Sylvia Campground is prized by the people in Paron. Lake Sylvia Campground is a wonderful camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Ouachita Mountains. At Lake Sylvia Campground throughout the long summer days highs are in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter the highs are generally in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Lake Sylvia Campground descend   into the 20's. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Narrow Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth checking out; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend South Fourche LaFave. Be careful coming to the Ouachita Mountains, you might not ever want to go back home again. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Lake Norrell Spillway, and Petit Jean State Park is a good site to pop by on a wonderful day. This campground is always a pleasure. Since you're here at Lake Sylvia Campground why not go to The Narrows, and at Lake Sylvia Dam in the vicinity of Lake Sylvia Campground there are some out of the ordinary things to see. So many amusing things near Lake Sylvia Campground, and it is a splendid escape from the ordinary. Lake Sylvia Campground is a wet spot that gets much rainfall; May is the month that gets the most rain while January is generally the driest month. If you come at the right time of year, Cedar Creek offers some good whitewater, and a tour to Hot Springs National Park is recommended. A lake close by is Lake Sylvia, and you without doubt must pop by Pinnacle Mountain State Park if you're here. Camping out indisputably is a pleasant thing to do, and Lake Sylvia Campground in Arkansas is a splendid place to go. This is such a fun location for a campground.
