Elks Campground, Talkeetna Mountains, Alaska   Alaska has such a large number of things to offer nature lovers. Elks Campground gets very little rain; most of the rain falls through September, and the driest month is March. In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Moose Creek, and the skiing at Alyeska is perfect. There's such a large number of things to do at Elks Campground including whitewater paddling, and playing golf, so running out of fun things to do won’t happen.
