Hiking along the Bear Gulch Trail is great fun, and an afternoon playing golf at Sheridan Country Club is always a bliss. West Tensleep Lake is pretty dehydrated usually; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is February.

Be careful coming to West Tensleep Lake, you might not ever want to go home again. There's just no way someone can get bored here at West Tensleep Lake. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can pop by Sheridan Heights Dam, and there are some perfect whitewater
spots on Tongue River. A lot of fun is at this campground. While you're here at West Tensleep Lake you can take a hike along the Tepee Trail, and lakes are such calm places, why not go to Hume Ponds.
The Story Penrose Trail offers hiking at its best, and there's no such thing
as a bad day of skiing at close by Antelope Butte.
