| | Summertime at West Tensleep Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at West Tensleep Lake temperatures fall to the 0's. come across the Penrose Park Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail; skiing at Antelope Butte is one of those things you just should do. You'll meet a lot of folks from Sheridan here, and there is a brilliant hiking trail close by called the Bear Gulch Trail.

On a pleasant day at West Tensleep Lake you can take a hike along the Story Penrose Trail, and get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Clear Creek. If you come to this campground, you will have a pleasant time for sure. A journey to West Tensleep Lake
wouldn’t be complete without a trip to close by Bighorn National Forest, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Sheridan Country Club. So many local attractions and the wonderful variety of outdoors recreation will make you happy you came.

to do near West Tensleep Lake. There's some flowing water close by, Little Goose Creek is a stream you can have a look at during your stay; going for a hike on the Tepee Trail is always a great adventure.
