| | Sugarloaf is a very popular campground among folks from Jelm. Lots of fun is at this campground. A journey to Sugarloaf wouldn’t be complete without a trip to close by Roosevelt National Forest. This campground has everything. Sugarloaf is right by the Overland Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Laramie River. Finally, it's time to go camping once more, and Sugarloaf in Wyoming is a great spot to go. Don't leave Sugarloaf without stopping by Curt Gowdy State Park; do take a hike on the Ridge Camp Trail. During your visit to Sugarloaf you'll meet some folks from Jelm for sure, and if you come at the right time of year, Cache La Poudre River - North Fork offers some magnificent whitewater. and all the outdoors recreation will beyond doubt have you coming back over and over. Going for a hike along the Pole Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and Optimist Park is a wonderful site any time of year. A visit to Wyoming is not complete
without some camping. If the weather is great here at Sugarloaf, you can go for a hike along the Horse Creek Trail, and there are other sites here than Sugarloaf, for example Columbus Reservoir. The caring workforce and the competently operated operations are relatively phenomenal.
You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area close to Sugarloaf has to offer. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Lincoln Trail, and it's a great idea to stop by Harney Creek. Sugarloaf is pretty dried out usually; most of the rain falls throughout July while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
