| | Sugarloaf is a very popular campground among folks from Jelm. Lots of fun is at this campground. A journey to Sugarloaf wouldn’t be complete without a trip to close by Roosevelt National Forest.
This campground has everything. Sugarloaf is right by the Overland Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Laramie River. All through the months of summer at Sugarloaf highs are commonly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are ordinarily in |
the 30's while the cold winter nights at Sugarloaf are in the 0's. There's heaps of outdoors recreation available in the neighborhood such as hiking, whitewater paddling, swimming, and fishing, so you won’t run out of things to do.

Don't leave Sugarloaf without stopping by Curt Gowdy State Park; do take a hike on the Ridge Camp Trail.

and all the outdoors recreation will beyond doubt have you coming back over and over. Going for a hike along the Pole Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and Optimist Park is a wonderful site any time of year.
A visit to Wyoming is not complete
without some camping. If the weather is great here at Sugarloaf, you can go for a hike along the Horse Creek Trail, and there are other sites here than Sugarloaf, for example Columbus Reservoir. The caring workforce and the competently operated operations are relatively phenomenal.
You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area close to Sugarloaf has to offer. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Lincoln Trail, and it's a great idea to stop by Harney Creek. Sugarloaf is pretty dried out usually; most of the rain falls throughout July while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
