I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Ranger Creek. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Clear Creek,
    and the Tepee Trail is a splendid hiking trail close by. Such a glorious selection of attractions and the close by outdoors recreation are delightful reasons to come. The pleasant people who run this spot and the attractiveness of the spot attract people from far and near.
This is such a fun site for a campground. Why not go to Sheridan Heights Dam since you're here, and Bighorn National Forest is a nice place to go. Near Ranger Creek you discover great locations like Cemetery Draw, and Antelope Butte is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood. Throughout the summertime months, highs frequently are in the 80's at Ranger Creek. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Ranger Creek dipping down into the 0's through  
winter nights.
