| | Among the things you can do close to New Fork Lake are hiking, swimming, whitewater paddling, and fishing, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. New Fork Lake is pretty arid frequently; May is the wettest month with most rain, and August is when it's the driest. With such a large number of things to do in Wyoming you'll never get bored. If you come at the right time of year, Ditch Creek offers some great whitewater; you can go for a hike on the Valley Trail. Here at New Fork Lake you'll most likely meet some folks from Jackson; get yourself into a kayak and hit Snake River.

This campground is so good. A fine sight of wonderful Snow King Mountain is available from New Fork Lake, and there's splendid hiking along the Rendezvous Mountain Trail. New Fork Lake is one of the locations to camp here in the Wind River Range. You just can't envision the
amount of outdoors exciting things the area right next door to New Fork Lake has to offer. Snow King is a very popular ski area close at hand, and the Beaver Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. The welcoming environment and the tremendous quality of everything here makes the
tour here worthwhile. Man, is there lots of cool stuff to do in the Wind River Range. Don't leave New Fork Lake without first going for a hike along the Open Canyon Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Gros Ventre River. There
are so many entertaining things to do in the neighborhood of New Fork Lake, and if you're seeking a perfect location to go camping, this is a tremendous choice. Throughout the summer months at New Fork Lake highs are regularly in the 70's. Summer night lows fall down to the 40's. Through the winter the highs are generally in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for New Fork Lake.
