Tongue River Reservoir State Park is a delightful spot any time of year, and Middle Fork is right by the Stockwell Trail. Middle Fork is usually a rather dry site; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest of the months is February.

At this campground you will always have a splendid time. If you come at the right time of year, Clear Creek offers some magnificent whitewater; going for a hike along the Tepee Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.

here, and why not a little side trip to Little Goose Creek. Middle Fork is a very popular campground among the people from Sheridan. This campground is a beautiful spot to stop at. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Story Penrose Trail; spots like Bighorn National Forest are nice to visit.
