Campground. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Yellowstone River, and going for a hike on the Howard Eaton Trail is always a brilliant adventure. Summer at Madison Campground comes with high temperatures in the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. For
the period of the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Madison Campground. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Absaroka Range. Gallatin National Forest is both great and lovely, and it's near Madison Campground, and the Plateau Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close by.
