So much amusing stuff to do here in the Absaroka Range, too magnificent to be true. In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River, and there's nice hiking along the Table Mountain Trail.
Man, is there a heap of enjoyable stuff to do in the Absaroka Range. Hitching Post Campgrounds is right by the South Piney Trail; Red Lodge Mountain has great slopes and a friendly staff. Around Hitching Post Campgrounds you don’t get a lot of rainfall; May is the month that gets the most rain, and January is when it's the driest.
