I was disapointed to see the motel had vanished as if it were never there and the restaurant had been virtually pick apart piece by piece. With boards covering the windows. Hell's Half Acre was smelling like a ghost town. We all felt like a place we had come to know and love had been left to die. As we drive by from time time we will give the ghost town a wave good-bye. It's been a while since I'd been through there, and was sad to see the motel totally gone, its been demolished and removed, the restaraunt / store is all boarded up. Even the propane tank is tipped   over and disconnected. There are concrete barriers blocking the drive in, but you can still walk around them after pulling up to them. Heck if anything, NOW, you can go as far as you like with out getting yelled at :) Its still worth the stop to check it out.
