Whitewater paddling is good on Clear Creek, and if you're going to from Buffalo, you won't be the only one. This campground is a gorgeous location to explore. Take a side trip to Rock Creek. Get covered with water paddling on Powder
| River - North Fork; a golf course nearby is Buffalo Golf Club. Deer Park Campground is pretty dried up mostly; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February.
Through the summertime, highs generally are in the 80's at Deer Park Campground while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Deer Park Campground dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. | |
