Canyon Campground, Absaroka Range, Wyoming   The magnificent local attractions and such a magnificent variety of outdoors recreation will make you glad you came. Having a tremendous time in the Absaroka Range is trouble-free. Take a hike on the Wolf Lake Trail. All through the months of summer at Canyon Campground temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. Going for a hike along the Mary Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and whitewater paddling is not   for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Yellowstone River. As if Canyon Campground wasn't sufficient, you can also go hiking, and whitewater paddling, so almost certainly you want to stay for a while. A visit to Wyoming is not complete without some camping. Gallatin National Forest is both wonderful and pretty, and it's near Canyon Campground, and Canyon Campground is right by the Ice Lakes Trail. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a brilliant time here at Canyon Campground. While you're here at Canyon Campground you can take a hike along the Howard Eaton Trail, and a pleasant journey to Virginia Meadows is a tremendous way to spend an afternoon.
