Brooklyn Lake - Medicine Bow National Forest, Wyoming   This campground is so tremendous. If you are in Wyoming through camping season, you have to go camping. Such a pleasant pick of attractions and so much stuff to do will make you pleased you came. Brooklyn Lake is a very popular campground with the residents of Jelm. Not much precipitation falls here at Brooklyn Lake; most of the rain falls through July, and January on the other hand is the driest. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Laramie River, and Brooklyn Lake is not far at all from Jelm. So many entertaining things close to Brooklyn     Lake, and when you spend some time here you will feel like a whole new person. All through the summer months highs here at Brooklyn Lake get into the 80's with night lows in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Brooklyn Lake temperatures sink to the 0's. There is a glorious hiking trail in close proximity to Brooklyn Lake called the Horse Creek Trail, and if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Lincoln Trail. A spree to Roosevelt National Forest when you're here at Brooklyn Lake is never a bad idea, and the Pole Mountain Trail is a great hiking trail close by. If you come at the right time of year, Cache La Poudre River - North Fork offers some good whitewater, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Overland Trail.   But wait, there's more to do near Brooklyn Lake. Going for a hike along the Ridge Camp Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and some of the water close by flows, like Harney Creek. This is a tremendous campground. Places like Optimist Park are great to visit, and popping by Curt Gowdy State Park is a tremendous thing to do. Hey, it's been too much time since you went outside, time's here for camping, and Brooklyn Lake in Wyoming is a great selection. There's heaps of outdoors recreation available in the vicinity such as hiking, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t get bored.
