Mirror Lake State Park is worth taking a look at if you're at Wheeler's Campground; the summit of Sauk Hill can be observed from Wheeler's Campground. Skillet Creek is a brilliant whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Wheeler's Campground, and there's always Oak Street Dam to visit near Wheeler's Campground. A visit to North Country National Scenic Trail is worthwhile, and do go to Johnson Ponds, it's a gorgeous lake. and Devils Head is a brilliant local ski area. This campground is so pleasant. If the weather is nice here at Wheeler's Campground, you can go for a hike along the East Bluff Trail, and the smiling folks of Baraboo like to hang out close by. And that's not all you can do here
at Wheeler's Campground. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Fairfield Hills Golf Course, and a nice place for whitewater paddling is Baraboo River. Wheeler's Campground gets a normal amount of annual precipitation; September is the month that gets the
most rain; January on the other hand is the driest. This campground has so many entertaining things to offer. In case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Wisconsin River, and hiking along the Bluff Trail is great fun. If time allows,
Ice Age National Scenic Trail is a national park worth a visit, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the East Bluff Woods Trail. High temperatures at Wheeler's Campground all through the summer are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. Highs throughout the
wintertime are generally in the 20's, and overnight lows at Wheeler's Campground during the wintertime commonly plunge into the 0's. This is a pleasant campground. Don't leave Wheeler's Campground without first checking out West Bluff, and a round of golf at nearby Baraboo Country
Club is a pleasant way to kill some time. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area near Wheeler's Campground has to offer. Going for a hike along the West Bluff Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; of course, everyone loves Devil's Lake State Park.
