Since you're here at Southfork Campground why not stop at Lower Dells, and get drenched paddling on Skillet Creek. Lake Delton 80 is a nearby lake that you could stop   by, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Baraboo River. Lots of folks stay here to be near Rocky Arbor State Park. The amount of rainfall that falls at Southfork Campground is close to the national average; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain while January is ordinarily the driest month. An afternoon playing golf at Trappers Turn Golf Club is always a delight, and the East Bluff Woods Trail offers hiking at its best. And that's not all you can do here at Southfork Campground. Glide down the rapids of Wisconsin River in a kayak. Some activities here at Southfork Campground are whitewater paddling, fishing, swimming, hiking, and playing golf, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. This is such a good campground. Rocky Arbor State Park is a magnificent spot to go to, and do take a hike on the Grottos Trail. Southfork Campground is located in a region with lots of amusing stuff to do, and what a delightful site for camping it is.
