| | Silver Springs Campsites is a 2nd generation campground started in 1969! We are located on 65 acres with a 10 acre lake in the center of all the campsites & 105 acres of beautiful countryside. We are a family campground with many fun activities for all ages! We are located 40 minutes from Madison, Wisconsin Dells & Montello. Just 5 miles out of Rio off of Hwy 16. Our S'more Snacks Shack offers a Friday night fish fry, grilled burgers, fries, appetizers, soft serve ice cream treats & much, much more! We offer overnight camping, seasonal sites, and large |

A journey to Ice Age National Scenic Trail is recommended, and Lake Kegonsa State Park is a delightful place to stop at. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Silver Springs Pond, and if you're looking for a great journey, North Country National Scenic Trail is pretty near. and Governor Nelson State Park is a picturesque spot any time of year. For the duration of the summer months highs here at Silver Springs Campsites get into the 80's while night lows are usually in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are generally in the 20's with temperatures
at Silver Springs Campsites dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights.
Schiller Dam is worth checking out while you're here, and the slopes of Cascade Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist. Man, is there a heap of exciting things to do near Silver Springs Campsites.

AMENITIES
Tent camping is available - We allow tent camping on any of our sites.
RV hookups are available - We have 150 sites with water, electric and sewer. We have 150 additional sites with just water and electric.
Pets are allowed - We do require a $10 pet deposit upon check in, requiring specific rules to be followed. The $10 is returned to the customer at check out if no complaints were received about their dog.
Campfires are allowed - There is a firepit at each campsite. At this time you may still bring your own firewood. Otherwise we do sell wood in the office.
Has Store - We have a well stocked convenience store, with grocery items, camper supplies, souveniers, ect.
Grocery store nearby - There is a grocery story in Rio about 5 miles away.
Pool - We have a nice swimming pool and deck chairs. We also have a lake, beach and swim toys.
Game Room - We have a nice game room with video games, pool table, air hockey, and juke box.
RATES:
Weekday $36, Weekend $41 and Holiday $42. The rate includes two adults, three children and water/electric
