plenty of people from Portage here at Pride of America Campground. If time allows, North Country National Scenic Trail is a national park worth visiting, and a trip here wouldn’t be complete without a trip to nearby Devil's Lake State Park.
If you don’t have a problem getting

Lakes are such calm locations, why not explore Mud Lake close to Pride of America Campground, and Cascade Mountain has good slopes and a friendly staff.
From a rain point of view Pride of America Campground is a reasonably normal place; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
