The annual rain here at Ottawa Lake is about average; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's     the driest. If you are in Wisconsin through camping season, you ought to go camping. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you won’t be let down; there's playing golf, fishing, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so running out of cool things to do won’t happen. Lakes are great; 2 Reservoir is a lake that's near Ottawa Lake, and White River is a good whitewater spot close by. Such a wonderful selection of attractions and all the outdoors recreation will certainly have you coming back again and again. At this campground you will always have a nice time. Ottawa Lake is not far at all from Eagle, and Menomonee River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. The friendly reception and all the fine passtime activities are in themselves reason enough to come here. A golf course in the neighborhood of Ottawa Lake   is Broadlands Golf Club; if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pewaukee River. Summer at Ottawa Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are mostly in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Ottawa Lake. Some folks stay here throughout their spree to Kettle Moraine State Forest South. A day on the slopes of Alpine Valley is just what you need, and Kettle Moraine State Forest South is a delightful place.
