This segment of Wisconsin is always a delight to stop by all through camping season. Island Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore, and don't leave without going to Brunet Island State Park.

Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Christie Mountain has good slopes and a friendly staff, and going for a hike on the Hay Meadow Trail is always a great adventure. Some of the things you can do here at Northshore Bar and Campground are hiking, swimming,
fishing, and whitewater paddling, so running out of fun stuff to do won’t happen.
In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Chippewa River. The staff who's always there to assist and the nicely looked after facilities
attract folks from far and near. For the period of the summertime highs here at Northshore Bar and Campground reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Northshore Bar and Campground sink into the-10's.
