Northern Highland-American Legion State Forest Crystal Lake Area, Wisconsin   At Northern Highland exciting stuff to do is plentiful; being here is always fun. Go for a hike on the Alligator Eye Trail, and there are plenty of folks from Boulder Junction here at Northern Highland. Scores of fun is at this campground. When you're here at Northern Highland it's always fun to stop by Ottawa National Forest, and paddling on Presque Isle is so much fun. That right there is a load already, but it keeps on going; Northern Highland has it all. Trout Lake Golf & Country Club is a golf course close to Northern Highland. Lakes are tremendous;     Allequash Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Northern Highland. The friendly workforce and all the entertaining stuff to do will make you feel splendid. Throughout the long summer days here at Northern Highland, high temperatures typically reach the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's with temperatures at Northern Highland dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. Northern Highland is a good place of normal rainfall; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February is the month with the least moisture. Lake Gogebic State Park is both great and beautiful, and it's right next door to Northern Highland; if you come at the right time of year, Planter Creek offers some brilliant whitewater. This campground is   a tremendous place to pop by. North Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth checking out; wonderful hiking is available along the Bearskin State Park Trail. Finally, it's time to go camping once more; Northern Highland in Wisconsin is exactly the location. Really pleasant skiing awaits you at Indianhead; float down the rapids of Ontonagon River in a kayak. A visit to Wisconsin is not complete without some camping. Outdoors recreation is plentiful, some of the entertaining stuff you can do is swimming, playing golf, hiking, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so almost certainly you want to stick around. Northern Highland is a top choice with people in Boulder Junction. The splendid local attractions and so much to do are good reasons to come.
