There's whitewater on Presque Isle for all you adrenaline junkies; you'll find a striking lake called Allequash Lake. Be careful coming to Northern Highland, you might not ever want to return home again. Go for a hike on the Alligator Eye Trail, and enjoy a round of golf at Trout Lake Golf & Country Club.

The great variety of local attractions and such a great variety of outdoors recreation are certain to keep you coming back again and again. From a precipitation point of view Northern Highland is a rather typical location; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is commonly the driest month. Northern Highland is an old favorite with folks in Boulder Junction.

Outdoors folks generally adore this segment of Wisconsin. This campground is so scenic. Lake Gogebic State Park is worth taking a look at if you're at Northern Highland, and North Creek is near Northern Highland and is always a delight to stop by. Planter Creek is a perfect whitewater
spot near Northern Highland; you can hit the slopes at Indianhead close at hand.
The positive environment and loads of enjoyable things to do are in themselves reason enough to come here. During the summertime highs here at Northern Highland get into the 70's, and through the
night it cools down to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Northern Highland are in the-10's.
