| | A lot of fun is at this campground. Skiing at Indianhead is one of those things you just should do; Presque Isle has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot close by. The great folks who operate this spot and the skillfully maintained facilities are incentive enough to come here. Throughout the summer months here at Northern Highland, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's while overnight lows are mostly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's with temperatures at Northern Highland dipping down into the-10's through winter |
nights.
Hiking along the Alligator Eye Trail is wonderful fun; whitewater paddling is splendid on Ontonagon River. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Northern Highland. Places like Ottawa National Forest are great to have a look at,
| and Northern Highland is not far at all from Boulder Junction.
If you fancy the outdoors, you won’t be disappointed; there's playing golf, fishing, hiking, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Northern Highland is a very well prized campground by folks of Boulder Junction.

Club is a fine golf course nearby, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Bearskin State Park Trail.
Get covered with water paddling on Planter Creek; if you're here, you could take a look at North Creek. This campground is a tremendous place to have a look at.
