Nordic Pines Resort, and Mirror Lake State Park is a brilliant place to stretch your legs a bit. The good local attractions and the close by outdoors recreation are good reasons to come.
All the joyful people and all the exciting things to do have people coming from far and
near. This campground has so much enjoyable stuff to offer. A nice location for whitewater paddling next to Nordic Pines Resort is Skillet Creek; while you're here you can take a hike along the Grottos Trail. This campground has it all.
Nordic Pines Resort is incredibly popular
with the people in Merrimac. Get your heart pumping on the fine whitewater of Baraboo River; hiking along the East Bluff Trail is glorious fun. There's more to do close to Nordic Pines Resort other than just hanging out such as swimming, whitewater paddling, hiking, playing golf,
and fishing, so running out of entertaining things to do won’t happen.
Wisconsin River is a nice whitewater spot near Nordic Pines Resort, and a journey to North Country National Scenic Trail is recommended. There are other spots here than Nordic Pines Resort, for example Johnson
Ponds, and going for a hike along the East Bluff Woods Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.
Really great skiing awaits you at Devils Head, and Nordic Pines Resort is right by the West Bluff Trail. Summertime at Nordic Pines Resort comes with high temperatures
in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's.
