Soar down the rapids of Flambeau River - South Fork in a kayak; Mineral Lake is in the neighborhood of Island Lake which is a gorgeous place. All the merry people and all the perfect passtime activities beat anything. This campground has so many entertaining things to offer. There are some nice whitewater spots on Flambeau River - South Fork, and don't leave Mineral Lake without first going for a hike along the Newman Springs Ski Trail. | |

Mineral Lake is a very popular old favorite campground among the folks in Park Falls. If you come at the right time of year, Flambeau River - North Fork offers some wonderful whitewater, and if you're here you can play some golf at Park Falls Country Club. An average amount
of rainfall falls at Mineral Lake; during August this area sees the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. There's such a large number of things to do at Mineral Lake including playing golf, swimming, fishing, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
