Devils Nose, and if you like swamps you're in luck, Gallus Slough is right close by. There are other places here than Merry Mac's Camp'n, for example Johnson Ponds; there's delightful hiking along the East Bluff Trail. This campground is so nice. Manley Creek is right next door
to Merry Mac's Camp'n and is always a delight to stop at, and you can run the rapids of Skillet Creek.
The positive ambiance and a good variety of fun things makes the journey here worthwhile. Merry Mac's Camp'n gets a normal amount of annual precipitation; the month with most
of the rain is August, and February is the month with the least moisture. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. If you're popping by Merry Mac's Camp'n from Merrimac, you won't be the only one, and Merry Mac's Camp'n is right by the Bluff Trail.
The good local attractions
and the nearby outdoors recreation will make you delighted you came. Taking a little spree to close by Wiegands Bay is a glorious idea, and if you have time to spare, Ice Age National Scenic Trail is a national park worth taking a look at.
