has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by; you can go for a hike on the Hay Meadow Trail. You could also pop by Axhandle Lake if you're here at Loon Lake Camp Grounds; it's nearby, and Christie Mountain is a great local ski area. Loon Lake Camp Grounds is located in an area with a lot of exciting things to do, and it is a fun spot for the whole family.
