Ken's Kampsite, Wisconsin   Some activities here at Ken's Kampsite are playing golf, whitewater paddling, swimming, and fishing, so it's out of the question to get bored. What would winter be without some skiing at Christie Mountain, and there are plenty of folks from Chetek here. This campground has everything. Pokegama Creek flows through this region, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Chippewa River. All through the summertime months at Ken's Kampsite highs are generally in the 80's, and the night is rather cooler of course, mostly     in the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Ken's Kampsite. Golf can be played at Sunset View Country Club. Ken's Kampsite is loved by the folks from Chetek. The caring reception and the well maintained facilities are reasonably impressive. Such a perfect selection of attractions and all the outdoors recreation will positively have you coming back repeatedly. For you golfers we recommend nearby Sioux Creek Golf Course, and there are some nice whitewater spots on Duncan Creek. At Ken's Kampsite cool stuff to do is plentiful, and when you get to enjoy this place for a while you will feel like a whole new person. Everybody loves Lake Wissota State Park, and lakes are such serene sites, why not pop by Mud Lake. Now, you may feel that's lots but there's   even more entertaining stuff to do here at Ken's Kampsite. Swamps are exciting places and Pike Slough in the vicinity of Ken's Kampsite is no exception, and Pittmans Point is in close proximity and always good to visit. The annual rain here at Ken's Kampsite is about average; most of the rain falls through August, and the driest of the months is February. If you are in Wisconsin during camping season, you have to go camping.
