Hager's Hilly Haven Campground, Wisconsin

| | My husband and I were out riding around and found what we thought was Hilly Haven. We turned off hwy 28 and ended up driving into a gated area. We didn't think it was open. We drove through an area that looked like a dump with metal and plastic barrels in a creek. There were abandonded vehicles all over the place. When we drove into the gated area, the buildings there almost looked abandonded as well. If this was Hilly Haven, the DNR should have a look at the area. We were depressed when we left. Says LouAnn

Hilly Haven Campground, you could also go to wonderful Lake Ellen; you can never get enough of the brilliant skiing at Sunburst. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Sauk Creek, and playing golf is lots of fun at Crystal Lake Golf Course. For the period of the summer months at Hager's
| Hilly Haven Campground highs are generally in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. Through the winter the highs are generally in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Hager's Hilly Haven Campground. Campground. A good site like Harrington Beach State Park right next door to Hager's Hilly Haven Campground is too nice to leave out, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Chambers Creek.
