Lakes? Sure, Otter Lake is close at hand, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Embarrass River. Hit the slopes at Nordic Mountain nearby; whitewater paddling is tremendous on Little Wolf River. From a precipitation point of view Deerhaven Campground is a reasonably normal location; September is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This campground is so perfect. At this campground you will always have a perfect time. Places like Hartman Creek State Park are great to stop by; the friendly folks of Waupaca like to hang out nearby. Greenwood Forest is a tremendous
forest area right next door to Deerhaven Campground, and enjoy a round of golf at Waupaca Country Club.
Summertime highs at Deerhaven Campground mostly tend to be in the 80's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's;
after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Deerhaven Campground sink into the 0's. If you adore the outdoors, you'll go for Deerhaven Campground. A trip to nearby Norris Point is very relaxing; if you're here you can play some golf at Foxfire Golf Club.
