Yep, outdoors cool things to do are beyond doubt abundant here at Brunet Island State Park. Soar down the rapids of Duncan Creek in a kayak, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Holcombe here. Long Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Hickory Ridge Trail.

Brunet Island State Park is a good location of typical precipitation; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. There's more to do in the neighborhood of Brunet Island
State Park other than just hanging out such as swimming, whitewater paddling, hiking, and fishing, so there's no way to get bored. Hiking along the Hay Meadow Trail is nice fun, and get drenched paddling on Chippewa River.
A visit to Wisconsin is not complete without some camping.
