The kind personnel and all the enjoyable stuff beat anything. There's whitewater on Chippewa River for all you thrill seekers; lakes are such serene places, why not explore Lake Como. |
At this campground you will always have a nice time. You can take a little spree to Bloomer Mill Dam while you're here at Birch Point Resort, and there are great locations to look at along the Hickory Ridge Trail. Going to Lake Wissota State Park near Birch Point Resort is
| a good thing to do, and there's splendid hiking along the Moonridge Trail. Birch Point Resort gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily August, that's the one that rains the most; February is the month with the least moisture. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Duncan Creek, and going for a hike on the O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail is always a pleasant adventure. days of summer are in the 80's; the overnight is rather chillier of course, mostly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Birch Point Resort temperatures fall to the-10's. You've been indoors for too much time,
and Birch Point Resort is a great local campground if you happen to be in Wisconsin. There's so much stuff to do in the vicinity of Birch Point Resort, and to be at this place is great fun any time. A spree to Old Abe State Trail when you're here at Birch Point Resort is never a bad idea.
