If you are in Wisconsin during camping season, you must go camping. Sunburst has delightful slopes and a friendly staff, and Milwaukee River has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby. Benson's Century Camping is near Dundee Dam which is a gorgeous place beyond doubt worth checking out; whitewater paddling is tremendous on Sauk Creek.
