Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Turtle Creek, and lots of folks from Sullivan come here. The welcoming people working here and the delightful facilities have people coming here. Wisconsin is a good spot for outdoors people. A number of folks stay here when they come to stop at Kettle Moraine State Forest South. All     the delightful local attractions in the neighborhood and such a delightful variety of outdoors recreation will without doubt have you coming back persistently. High temperatures at Bark River Campgrounds during the summer months are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's with temperatures at Bark River Campgrounds dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the exciting stuff you can do is whitewater paddling, and relaxing, so almost certainly you want to stick around for a while. Bark River Campgrounds is a very popular campground among folks from Sullivan. If you come at the right time of year, White River offers some great whitewater; Kettle Moraine State Forest South is both great   and striking. Swamps like Slabtown Pond in the vicinity of Bark River Campgrounds make for delightful places to pop by, and when you're here it's always fun to explore Aztalan State Park. Bark River Campgrounds gets a typical amount of rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is frequently the driest month. You don’t have to go far from Bark River Campgrounds to catch a sight of the water at Cushman Dam; you can never get enough of the good skiing at Highlands of Olympia.
